Summer is ending
The tomato harvest was bigger and better than we imagined. The corn did great too. About 150 ears. The freezer is filling up with yummy foods and canning is up next. We had grapes and turned them into jelly, and we’ve made tomato sauces and frozen whole tomatoes. We have hot peppers and green peppers too. They’re strung up and are drying. We’ll be making salsa too.

Summer 2007
This is our third summer in Strong. It gets better every year. Dad tamed the forest and has been working hard on our best garden ever. The kids are loving the river, the forest and running like crazy through the garden paths. We’ll have apples, raspberries and blackberries, and we found some great plum trees this year. Little by little our farm is coming along.
