Our goat Calvin was our first adventure in farming. He was about 10 months old when we got him. He’s a wether (neutered male) and unfortunately he was disbudded (horns cauterized) before we got him. He a sweet boy and very mischievous. He lives for corn and is constantly looking for ways to sneak into the chicken coop to steal some. Our second goat is Wendy. We got her at 4 weeks old. She’s grown so much and now has horns that are an inch or so long. So cute.  Goats are great for weed a brush control (one of the reasons we got them) they provide milk and cashmere and of course they’re so darn cute. They can be alarming at times.  They push and jump up. Very forward animals. They’re like little deer, and the noises they make are straight from Africa.
Wendy getting all grown up!
they love trips to the river
Calvin wasn’t handling the heat very well. It was making him grumpy.
